Alexa began practicing yoga after she found herself in a job that required her to sit for extended periods of time. The tension in her shoulders, neck, and back told her she needed yoga before her mind did. She was initially drawn to the physical challenge yoga offered, but a year into her practice, she started to tap into the mind-body connection. Not only did this new-found connection transform her yoga practice, but she found herself, her purpose, and the power of her breath. Yoga has brought her to herself time and time again. She completed her 200-hour YTT in December 2017. Her classes encourage students to find their breath, build strength, and cultivate community.
