Hilary began her yoga journey at 15 years old when she accidentally stumbled upon an instructional yoga VHS tape. It was this simple and humble seed that grew into a personal practice and eventually brought her to the path of teaching. Exploring this practice at home brought her a newfound respect and relationship with her body. Hilary felt inclined to help others feel this way as well. In 2015, Hilary completed her yoga teacher training under Dean Farrell at Milwaukee’s Yoga Ward, earning her 200 hr RYT certificate with Yoga Alliance.
Understanding the importance of cultivating a welcoming and non-intimidating environment, Hilary’s teaching style revolves around honoring one’s body and respecting where we are right now. Having taught classes full of students from all backgrounds, all shapes, sizes, and capabilities, Hilary aims to make yoga accessible to everyone.
At Hilary’s class, students can expect to be met with warmth and led through sequences that will both challenge and relax them. With the availability of modifications and assistance, students can feel confident that they do not need to be able to twist into a pretzel or even touch their toes to practice yoga with Hilary.
