Jackie came to yoga as a running and cycling addict looking for ways to stay flexible and improve her athletic performance. It did not take her long to realize yoga was so much more than static stretching. The power of breath, moving with intention, and the ability to explore her true self kept bringing her back to her yoga mat. As she began incorporating yoga poses and breath work into her physical therapy practice, she saw the positive mental and physical effects it had on her patients. She decided to pursue her RYT-200 hour teaching certification to deepen her knowledge of yoga practice and philosophy so that she could continue to share the power of yoga with others. She has a passion for empowering people to live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives and loves challenging students to find their own edge and release their unique inner power through powerful, purposeful and dynamic classes.
