Shawndra is a highly motivated individual who is very passionate about being involved in moving the community forward. She believes all people have a responsibility to do good and be good. Personally, yoga has offered her a transformational connection between the mind and body, unlocking so much potential and clarity in her life.
Her education and background is in psychology for children and adolescents with a focus in trauma-informed care. Her physical journey began with years of coaching gymnastics and she quickly fell in love with yoga in 2015 because it was a great place to integrate the physical aspects of gymnastics with her passion for mental health. Yoga is a space that offers personal healing and a place where she can connect to her mind, body, and spirit all at once. Her passion lies in providing space for others to tap in and discover their connection to the mind, body, and spirit as well.
